Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026 · Version 2.0
At T-VOIP we process your personal data transparently and only for the purposes described here. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why, on what legal basis, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Chilean law.
1. Data controller
- Company: T-VOIP
- Address: Santiago, Chile
- Privacy and rights contact: hello@t-voip.com
- Phone: 600 077 9200 (Chile) · +56 44 258 0045 (international)
For any matter relating to your personal data, write to the address above with the subject "Data protection".
2. Legal framework
We process your data in accordance with Chile's Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life and Law No. 21.719, which modernises the personal-data protection regime in Chile and creates the Personal Data Protection Agency. Law No. 21.719 takes effect on 1 December 2026; we are adapting our practices to its requirements. Where applicable, we also apply Law No. 19.496 on consumer protection.
We operate in several Latin American countries. When we process data of people in other countries in the region, we also comply with the applicable data protection rules in each one —for example, Brazil's LGPD and the data protection laws of Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina and the other countries where we provide services.
3. What data we collect
a) Data you provide
When you complete the contact form or write to us by email or WhatsApp, we collect identification and contact data:
- First and last name.
- Company (optional).
- Email address.
- Phone number (optional).
- Your profile or type of need and the content of your message.
b) Data collected automatically
- IP address and technical connection data (browser, operating system, language).
- Approximate country, inferred from your IP, to show you the right language and contact number.
- Campaign parameters (UTM), ad click identifier (
gclid) and source referrer, when you arrive from a link or ad; if you contact us, they are attached to your enquiry to attribute it to the campaign that originated it. - Site-usage information through analytics cookies, only if you accept them (see section 7).
We do not request sensitive data and do not need it to handle your enquiry. Please do not include it in the form message.
4. Purposes and legal basis
We use your data only for the following purposes, each with its legal basis:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answer your enquiries and manage the commercial contact you initiate | Consent / pre-contractual steps at your request |
| Prepare and send you service proposals when you request them | Consent / pre-contractual steps |
| Show you the site in your language and with the right support number | Legitimate interest (site operation) |
| Understand how the site is used to improve it (analytics) | Consent (analytics cookies) |
| Comply with legal obligations and handle any claims | Compliance with a legal obligation |
Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time (for example, from "Cookie preferences" or by writing to us), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising. It is shared only with the providers that help us run the site and assist you, as data processors:
| Provider | Purpose | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Website hosting provider | Host the site and receive form messages | As per hosting agreement |
| Google (Google Analytics 4) | Site-usage measurement, only with your consent | USA / international |
| IP geolocation services (geojs.io, ipwho.is) | Infer the country to choose language and phone number | International |
| Odoo (CRM), if enabled | Record and manage your enquiry as a sales opportunity | As per our CRM instance |
International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside Chile (for example, in the United States). In those cases we adopt reasonable contractual safeguards and choose providers with security and confidentiality commitments, so that your information keeps an adequate level of protection.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries with no later commercial relationship: up to 24 months from the last contact.
- Enquiries that lead to a commercial relationship: for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the period needed to meet legal obligations or handle claims.
- Analytics data: according to the measurement tool's configuration (in aggregate form).
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Cookies
This site uses two types of cookies and similar technologies:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
tv_pais | Functional | Remembers your country to show the correct contact number |
tv_lang | Functional | Remembers the language you chose |
tv_consent | Functional | Stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies |
| Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Measures site usage in aggregate. Loads only if you accept it. |
Functional cookies are necessary for the site to remember your preferences and do not require consent. Analytics cookies load only if you click "Accept" in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time from , or by clearing and blocking cookies in your browser settings.
With analytics cookies enabled, we also record, in aggregate form, certain conversion interactions —clicking the phone, the WhatsApp button or the email, and submitting the contact form— together with the campaign parameters (UTM) of your visit, to measure the effectiveness of the site and our campaigns. These events are sent to Google Analytics 4 only if you accept analytics cookies; if you decline them, they are not recorded.
8. Your rights
As the data subject, you may exercise at any time the rights granted to you by Chilean law:
- Access: find out what data of yours we process and get a copy.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or outdated data.
- Erasure or cancellation: ask us to delete your data where applicable.
- Objection: object to a specific processing activity.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, under Law No. 21.719.
- Blocking: temporarily suspend processing while a request is resolved.
To exercise them, write to hello@t-voip.com stating your name, the right you wish to exercise and, if possible, a detail that lets us verify your identity. We will reply within the timeframes set by law. If you believe we did not respond adequately, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency once it is operating, or to the relevant authority.
9. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing of your data that produce legal effects on you or significantly affect you. Site analytics is carried out in aggregate and not to build individual profiles with such effects.
10. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS encryption of the site.
- Access to data only for the staff who need it.
- Minimisation: we ask only for the data needed to assist you.
- Protection of form records against web access.
No system is infallible, but we work to maintain an adequate level of protection and to act diligently in the event of any incident that could affect your data.
11. Minors
This site is aimed at companies and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has given us data, please write to us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. We will publish the current version on this same page, with its update date and version number. If the change is significant, we will highlight it.
